TrustNav compares captured carrier representations with applicable public records. Unresolved differences remain visible rather than being forced into one answer.
A record of representations, not a verdict on them. TrustNav does not conclude that a carrier’s published representation is the true state of your roster, and does not conclude that your own record is. Where two captured sources say different things about the same clinician or site on the same date, both readings stay on the face of the record, each with its source and capture date.
- What each carrier’s published directory represented about your clinicians and sites — network, specialty, location, and acceptance signals — as captured, by date.
- The same subjects as they appear in applicable public reference records, matched on NPI wherever an identifier exists; name evidence surfaces candidate records only and never asserts a match by itself.
- Every place two captured sources diverge, preserved as an unresolved difference with both readings shown — never collapsed to a single answer, and never scored against you.
- Divergence across carriers: where several plans represent the same clinician differently in the same period, the spread is visible.
- Each figure sealed with a content hash, so your own team — or a carrier’s — can check the artifact independently.
This is not a directory-accuracy score, a compliance determination, or a finding against any carrier or any clinician. TrustNav published a provider-level finding class in July 2026 and withdrew it in full on 2026-08-04 after its own control comparison showed the method did not distinguish the flagged population. What survives that withdrawal, and what this hall offers, is narrower and better supported: a dated record of what each captured source represented, and where those representations differ from one another.
A fit check first: name the carrier set and the roster you want read, and TrustNav will state what the available captured record can and cannot support for those subjects before anything is commissioned. A commissioned carrier-representation record is then scoped to that roster and carrier set.

Anything your organization supplies is held separately and is never merged into the public record. The public record is built from public sources alone and does not change because a provider organization, a carrier, or anyone else becomes a client.
